MANGALORE HOUSING

The 170-acre site next to the river is a highly challenging site with its many constraints- site geometry, high-tension power lines, contours, and buffers to the water. The scheme envisions a dynamic neighborhood with varied communal spaces weaving in at different scales. The design allows for distinct communities that have their own sense of identity and creates a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood. A total of 1200 units are provided of three different plot sizes. The amenities include multiple clubhouses, community halls, anganwadi, commercial areas, an indoor sports arena, and religious buildings. The scale, function, and character of the open green spaces vary throughout the site providing a variety of experiences for the residents.
